Scotty Browns Poipu

WOW. This place surprised me big time. The food was amazing and I’m still dreaming about it. I had the #28 Dragon Bowl with crispy tofu (which they were able to accommodate all my food allergies while still making it taste delicious - a huge win!) and my friend loved her blackened chicken alfredo. Portion sizes were generous, the bartender customized my drink perfectly, and the manager even came by to chat. Service was A+ and the vibe was warm and welcoming. A new fave. You better believe I’ll be telling everyone about this spot!

~~ Food ~~ Ahi Sandwich - amazing!!! It was packed full of flavor, the brioche bun was fluffy, the slaw complimented the ahi perfectly, and it was filling. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. Poke & Chips - okay. I was expecting more flavor here, but it was all very fresh and yummy ~~ Drinks ~~ Scotty's Mai Tai - amazing!!! In competition for the best Mai Tai on the island Guava Mule - great. ~~ Service ~~ Went during happy hour and there was plenty of seating available. The waitresses were attentive and very friendly. Mahalo!

We came to this area to try to go to another restaurant without a reservation, but their bar was full. Being nearby, we randomly saw Scotty Browns and are SO happy we ended up here. We walked up and were immediately able to sit at the bar. Looking at the menu, we were actually overwhelmed by all the delicious sounding items, but landed on the dragon bowl with fried tofu, and the poke bowl. Both were outstanding. The dragon bowl was so full of flavor, warm and comforting, but not overly heavy. I cannot stop thinking about it. My husband got the poke bowl and loved all of the flavors and textures. Service was amazing, and the bartenders were all very friendly and helpful! Wish we were on the island longer so we could come back again!

We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Danae was our server, and she was wonderful. She made excellent recommendations, and everything was delicious from start to finish! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the open air feel. Order the Mai tai! You'll love the guava foam! Mahi mahi and Dragon bowl were both excellent. We dove into the key lime pie before I could take a photo.

Delicious food! The poke and chips had a bit of kick but so good. We also got the seared ahi and the dragon bowl. Super fresh. Don’t skip the kauai spritz

I would give it 6 stars if I could. Wow! We totally lucked out with this pick. It's a short drive from the Sheraton and both the service and food were spectacular. Leslie was the best server we could have asked for. We sat outside and the ambience was amazing. Starter was the poke with chips. The little cowboy salad was yummy. Mains were ahi burger on gluten free bread, and the dragon bowl was the other. Dragon bowl is so full of flavor. Got half chicken, half tofu. 10/10 highly recommend and they're fairly new but glad we tried it out. Will be back. Also the music was fire.

Shout out to Ryan Anderson, he is running a top notch location. Must go at least once! We went here twice during our stay on the Island. We hadn't realized it had only been open 5 weeks. The place was popping both times. We had a bit of a wait for 4 so we went to the bar. Wait time expired and the bartender went to check for us, we got seated immediately after. There was a mix up with some meal orders, and a longer then usual wait. Ryan personally brought out the late meal and came back to talk with us and apologize for the issues and deducted those meals from our check, going above and beyond. Our first dinner there hand zero issues just FYI. Amazing host and we felt very taken care of. Please if you have any issue talk with them before posting a negative review, the decision makers may just not have been able to catch the issue in time!
